FAQs

  • It’s a fundraiser for Foodbank Victoria. The way it works is fun and simple:

    1. School families create a supporter page at foodfight.com.au which creates a fundraising link for them.

    2. Families then share that fundraising link, using social media, email and text.

    3. Friends and extended family click on the link to make an online donation in support of Foodbank Victoria.

    4. At the end of the fundraising campaign, schools hold a massive Food Fight in celebration of their achievements. In a practical sense, this looks like a Fun Run where the kids get covered in ‘cake mix’, ‘jelly’, ‘cordial’ and hit with ‘fruit’. There might even be a couple of ‘cream pies’ involved!

  • Click the REGISTER SCHOOL button in the main navigation bar or call 1800 386 786.

  • No real food is harmed in the making of this event! We supply all participating schools with food substitutes. All products are gluten-free and non-toxic. For example, we use recycled foam fruit, colour powder for ‘cake mix’, coloured water for ‘orange juice’, slime for ‘jelly’ etc.

  • ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! We supply all the promotional material, event day resources and student rewards free of charge to the school.

In addition, there are no fees for the use of our online fundraising platform.

In short, there are no fees for the school, none for the families and none for the donors!
